Introduction -  Mrs Paynter

A warm welcome to Year One. The children in Year One continue their learning journey from Foundation Stage and transition into Key Stage 1. In Year One we aim to create a curriculum immersed in creativity, curiosity and excitement and embracing the Oakridge Way. We endeavour to offer a curriculum where our pupils take part in rich learning experiences, to enable them to develop into resilient, challenged and confident individuals.  The national curriculum provides an outline of key knowledge in which we build upon to develop engaging inspiring lessons to promote the development of our Year One pupil’s knowledge, understanding and skills.
